My closest place to get princess cake in san mateo area. Quick service. I ordered through the holiday not knowing if they would ever make it on time, but they got it perfectly. Marzipan was a bit too sweet but other than that it tasted okay. Asked to put the heart after my husband's name and they put a really cute heart on it. I love it!

We come here every time we go to/from the airport. They have the best pastries! I love all their cakes, the banana surprise, cookies, and brownies. Sitting outside is so lovely, great people watching, and great service! Best grilled chicken sandwich I’ve ever had! And love their Denver omelette. 10/10

They made me this cake for a baby shower a few years ago. It was such a great cake that I still think about it to this day.

This bakery is the bomb! Love it’s warm, friendly style, and assortment of decorative bakery items. Lunch was wonderful, served outside.

They have 4-5 styles of gluten-free pastries, which I ordered to go. So good. I wish they would display them separately instead of interspersing them amongst everything else. But that’s my own selfish wish. It would be nice if ladies behind the counter can be more friendly, even though they weren’t rude.

Great food. You need to order at the register then they bring the food which is always good. Sometimes the service falls off after food delivery like "how's the food", "do you need more water" isn't a concern to them. The have great sliced sourdough toast and you can get your own loaf to go.

The portion sizes you receive even you eat in the Cafe are very generous. Great value for your money. But I go out of my way and think of excuses to drive to Burlingame from SF to go to the bakery side of this shop. What gets me to make this trek you ask? 100% The French Waffle!!! It is light, crispy layers and layers of puff pastry with just the right amount of super fluffy whip cream in between to "waffles". I am so addicted to these that I am will to drive someone to the airport at 6am just to be able to stop and pick one up after I've dropped them off.

Even though we have visited Solvang several times, this was our first time eating here. We were lucky there was no line when we arrived, but shortly after, a long line formed. The outdoor space is nice, and they offer a good selection of beer. We do wish they offered more options for beef and chicken sausages.
